It is very important to order the correct size mattress, bumper and crate cover. Length is measured from the front of the crate to the back, width from side to side, and height from top to bottom. This will ensure that the crate bedding you order is a good fit for your dog’s crate. ----------------------------------------------------------- Making your dog's bed: Please keep in mind that there are no standard crate sizes. Our bedding has been designed to accommodate the majority of crates. For the best fit: 1)Place the bumper in the crate first. Start by attaching the Velcro at the back corners of the crate and work your way forward. Depending on the size of your crate the bumper may or may not come all the way to the front edge. The bumper will protect your dog from the wire frame. 2)Next, place the mattress in the crate. If you have a puppy you may want to wait until he’s over the teething stage. The comfy mattress will be a great reward for him later. 3) Finally, you’re ready to put the cover on the crate. This will provide the privacy and security your dog will appreciate.
